      Reporting and Parents’ Meetings

We know that girls thrive academically where the school and parents enjoy good communication, so regular reporting and parents’ meetings are part of the landscape.

Grade reports are published on the parent portal at half terms, with a full report – grades plus comment – at the end of every term.

Each year group has at least one parents’ seminar on a relevant topic (for example, GCSE subject options in the Lower Fifth, Higher Education in the Lower Sixth).  This is immediately followed by a formal parents’ meeting which gives an opportunity to meet the teaching staff.

The school uses an online booking system for parents’ convenience, and a print out of appointments is provided.

These academic meetings generally fall at exeats and half terms. For parents of boarders, we appreciate it can be especially frustrating to have to miss this opportunity, so if necessary we are always happy to make alternative arrangements through the tutor.
