Someone To Talk to
As well as their Housemistress, who liaises closely with parents, each girl has a tutor and every year group has a Head of Year. Wherever your daughter is in school and whatever she is doing, there is always someone to talk to. Her Head of Year will get to know her very well indeed having regular meetings with teaching and resident staff to ensure that she is coping well with her work, is happy in class and in her House and is interacting well with her peers.
She may also wish to talk to other teaching staff, senior girls in House (all sixth formers are encouraged to undertake the peer monitoring training provided for them), the School Counsellor, the Chaplain, a member of the medical staff, or one of the School's volunteer Independent Listeners.
Everyone matters at Sheborne Girls and the well being, emotional confidence and happiness of your daughter matters to the whole school community.
