Bursaries
Sherborne Girls has always strived to embrace young women from all backgrounds by offering support and bursaries to the most able or deserving pupils. A large capital investment is required to generate support for even one bursary and one of the School’s main priorities is therefore to focus on increasing the Bursary Fund.
Bursaries are promoted through Annual Giving to enable parents, Old Girls and other friends of the School to get involved. A regular monthly contribution can add up to a significant sum over a year or so and our hope is that everyone in the Sherborne Girls community will support this vital initiative to help open access to the School.
For those who recognise the value of a Sherborne education this is an opportunity to give others the chance to experience the benefits of all that Sherborne Girls can offer. Enhancing the Bursary Fund really will give many more deserving girls a helping hand.
