Sherborne Girls proudly presents SG Enterprises the commercial arm of Sherborne Girls School who are responsible for all non-school activities throughout the year but principally in the school holidays.
The School's glorious 40-acre campus is just a short walk from the town centre. The main school is a listed Victorian manor building, with a host of historic features including a large wood--panelled hall which can accommodate groups from 10 to 350.
Boarding Houses and School facilities are available to hire outside school term time. The School provides the perfect location to host residential groups, conferences, private hire, concerts, and special occasions. It has excellent transport links and is within walking distance of Sherborne train station.
Our dedicated team of staff are here to help you with hosting or organising your event or stay with us, from start to finish. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience between them and pride themselves in their customer service and people skills.

The Merritt Centre is a multi-functional building boasting a state-of-the-art music and performance venue, it is the perfect venue for all your musical needs. It boasts 19 teaching rooms, 2 classrooms which are beautifully designed for music lessons and a state of the art recording studio.
The Gransden Hall, the main heart of the building is the concert hall. It has a superb acoustic, warm, and sufficiently resonant for both vocal and instrumental music. Acoustic banners allow a subtle flexibility of reverberation and the seating offers numerous configurations with which to accommodate varying numbers of performers and audience.
The Mackenzie Foyer has a lovely ambiance with fabulous views over the grounds and is available for private functions.
Queenies café can be open for your events and catering is available thorough our in house caterers.
The Beddington Building is a self contained block which lends itself perfectly to courses or teaching for Lettings such as Language schools and day courses, where a class room is required. There is a purpose built lecture theatre and large foyer for breakouts.
The main School boasts many additional rooms which can be used as smaller venues if you have a more intimate event. There are a number or beautifully furnished Drawing rooms and the Hive lends itself well as a self-contained smaller venue.
We are delighted to offer Blair House, a small intimate property that sleeps 6 and has everything you would expect from a holiday let. Blair House is available to rent as a whole property during school holidays.

Oxley Sports Centre sits across the road from the main school and is a very busy community dual use facility which is available to hire.
