Ruth's Story
As Sherborne Girls celebrates its 125th birthday this year, I aim to raise £125,000 by running 125km continuously, starting on the afternoon of Friday 20 June, and finishing on Sports Day on Saturday 21 June. All money raised will support our Candlelight Bursary scheme, enabling more girls to receive an SG education. Knowing first-hand the transformative effect an SG education can have, I have pledged to continue the School's commitment to widening access and support to girls who have the promise and character to thrive and whose challenging home circumstances mean a boarding education is life-changing for both the girl and her family.
We partner with The Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation (RNCSF) to identify girls who would really gain from our help. You can find out more about our Candlelight Bursaries programme here.
Thank you so much for taking the time to donate.
Good luck, you are an inspiration!
