Welcome to the Admissions department at Sherborne Girls.

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. My colleagues and I are here to support and guide you through the process ensuring it is as straightforward as possible. We are on hand to answer your questions or provide further information about the School and admissions process in general.

I am joined in the Admissions Team by Mrs Jennifer Cracknell,  Admissions Officer, Mrs Emily-Jane Wells,  Admissions Co-ordinator, Mrs Jenny Hinks, Registrar, and Mrs Lucy Jarrett, Marketing and Engagement Officer.

We recommend that you get the admissions process underway at least two years before your daughter's intended start date. A good first step is to complete our enquiry form to request a prospectus or email us direct at [email protected]. A copy of our Key Admissions Dates can be found here. 

We warmly invite you to visit Sherborne Girls as early as possible, to see the School in action and meet the girls and staff. You can choose either an individual visit or to attend one of our group Tour Mornings/Afternoons.

We encourage you to complete our registration form two years in advance: by the time your daughter is in Year 6 for 13+ entry, or Year 5 for 11+ entry. This will ensure you are updated at every stage of the admissions process. It also gives your daughter the opportunity to spend some quality time at the School, and for all of you to build relationships with senior staff and the Admissions Team.

You are welcome to visit as many time as you like during the admissions process, and to get in touch with any questions. We keep in close contact  throughout, ensuring you know what's required at every step.
