We have set out the vision, mission and values for Sherborne Girls:
To be the leading full-boarding girls’ school for all-round personal development and academic fulfilment, and to create a community of empowered learners who will be an influence for good in a challenging and changing world.
To provide a broad and enriching, full boarding education that develops the unique talents of every girl within a supportive community. To send out into the world girls of character, commitment and compassion who are able to think clearly and creatively, choose wisely and have the courage to make a difference.
Our five key Values of Curious, Courageous, Compassionate, Adaptable and Spiritual, along with our fundamental commitment to social and environmental responsibility, underpin and are embedded within all aspects of our Strategic Plan and remain at the core of all we do.

At Sherborne Girls we do not claim to be experts in every lived experience of our pupils and staff, but we do promise to open and sustain conversations that lead to greater awareness and understanding, just as we are committed to treating all members of our community fairly and with dignity and respect. We value these characteristics of our community which bring individuals together in a mutually supportive partnership that promotes true belonging.
